Eight years ago, I started strength training and I've been really fanatical for 1.5 years. I am now orienting myself to a study about fitness and nutrition.

Did you have an uncertainty?

Uncertainties? Not really. The older I get, the less insecure I am. But... “life” leaves its mark. The loss of my mother and my melanoma cancer in 2019 scarred my face. That realization has taught me to take better care of myself: living healthier, exercising more and giving myself something extra in terms of care.

What treatment did you do for this?

When it comes to facials, I'm still a layman. I've always invested in good skin products to care for my skin. Last December, I had botox for the first time for my frown and forehead wrinkles. Something I always said I would never do. Now, though, I'm really happy with it; it softens my face. Recently, I also tried the Aēstec hydration treatment and I'm already looking forward to the second treatment! I am so happy with the result: my skin feels fuller, softer, more elastic and well hydrated. And my glow... wow!

How was the treatment?

Botox didn't hurt. The Aēstec hydration treatment was somewhat sensitive, but certainly doable with anesthetic cream.

How do you further look at aging?

As Cher told Oprah: “I think it sucks!”. For me, it's about acceptance. I don't feel like I'm 45 years old. I'm fitter and stronger than I was in my 20s and 30s, and I want to see that in my face. No, I don't want to look like I've gone back in time, but I want to express how I feel. Botox and the hydration treatment at Aēstec help with this. And I feel good about that.
